PROTEIN PANCAKES FROM SCRATCH

Protein pancakes are a great snack on the go, after workouts or for breakfast! They are super easy to make and delicious!
Here is one tried and tested recipe from my holistic meal plans. It is good for vegetarian, vegans, and meat eaters alike. Check it out below!

INGREDIENTS

Here is what you will need!

• 1 scoop protein powder (Vegans use a vegan, pea, hemp or rice based protein powder)
• 1/2 tsp cinnamon
• 2 eggs
• 1/3 cup amaretto tofu (optional)
• 1/3 cup wheat free oats
• 2 tbsp almond flour
• 1/2 bananas (sliced)
• Maple syrup (optional)
• Pecans (optional)

DIRECTIONS

  1. Heat non-stick pan.
  2. Mix all dry ingredients: protein powder, almond flour, and cinnamon in a bowl.
  3. Mix all wet ingredients: start with two eggs. beat them and add almond milk and tofu. Mix until smooth.
  4. Pour batter onto non-stick pan. Add pieces of sliced banana and/or strawberry. Cook both sides evenly, flip like a pancake.
  5. Put on plate cut and add maple syrup (and optional bits of walnuts or pecans).
