How Sam Created a Stunning Fit Hourglass Shape!


This fantastic lady came into our lives and was not only one of my most intense clients and challenge winners, but she also became one of my most intense Hourglass Workout Instructors! 

This lovely lady went from Chef Extraordinaire to a phenomenal certified personal trainer and a fan-favorite instructor in our Hourglass Workout classes. Sam, we love you 4ever!

Thoughts on the social aspect of the class: I had no social life before this class….ahahahah…I moved here and knew one girl. Granted Aleksandra is my oldest and dearest friend so she counts for like two people. Now….I have three of my best friends in life thanks to this class: Linda Mighty Mouse Lem, Leni VIP Strineka, and Kathy Drago Philips. Its been a long time since I can say I had girlfriends. I am not an easy person to get to know but this class this journey we are all on it makes it easier to crack the outside of some prickly shells. We all sweat, struggle and wanna die, we all lean on each other for support and encouragement.

Your personal philosophy on fitness: There is nothing in the world more empowering than feeling good about how you look. The confidence and strength that comes with the knowledge you look as good as you can is indescribeable. I had no idea until I actually started to feel good about my appearance. I think that anyone can go to the gym, lift a weight, go for a run, do a few sit ups. The difference is doing it with meaning, doing it with the intention of doing it the best you can. I can curl a 35 pound weight and I can do 600 pounds on the leg press but when I do it the right way when I think about the move and focus on the muscle contracting it makes all the difference in the world…all the difference. I get more results curling 25’s than I ever got with the bigger weights. Doing it well and just doing it are two different things. I try to make every single move every time I go whether its a curl, press, step, extension, pull-down etc. matter. This is one of the few things you can do in the world that ALLLLLLLL of the results all of your successes are based on how much effort you put into it. It doesn’t matter if your kissing someones butt, how popular you are, how much money you have, who likes you, who doesn’t like you, all of the progress all of the gains are all inside of me.

How did you stick to the program (tips and tricks): I stick to the program because I have the best workout partner on the planet. Linda Mighty Mouse Lem is the greatest girl in the world. She is always there by my side. When I am tired I text her and she guilts me into my cardio…when I grab a 10 she takes it away gives me a 15…when I can’t do anymore she makes me do one more…..I keep a copy of my diet stuck to my walls at home…in the bathroom, in the kitchen, in my bedroom. At work it’s stuck to the fridge door and to the wall. I never let myself forget that its all based on what I eat….and being a chef…trust me it’s very very challenging. One of the most difficult things I have ever done is not eat the buffet at my finger tips every single day. Having a bakery, pastry shop, truffle maker and horsdouvres every day in front of me is my biggest struggle. I just take each day at a time and close my eyes to it.

What advice would you give to other girls thinking of joining the class on how to be successful: Be focused on what you want. Be 100 percent dedicated for three months and when you see how good you feel and how much you change you will be completely amazed. As females we live an average of 83 years. This is 3 months…90 days of your entire life where you dedicate time to making yourself better. Just try it…you have got nothing to loose 3 months is less than 1% of your entire life and afterwards you will be so happy feel so good you will change 100% of the rest of your life.

Your thoughts on Lyzabeth as an instructor: She changed the way I eat, the way I live my life and the way I look at myself. Not an easy feet for one woman to make such a huge difference on me. I am a very stubborn not easy to get to know person. She changed me for the better. I have never seen her without a smile on her face and a positive word for all of us. I have never in my life met someone who is such a great role model or someone who is more focused and driven. She makes me want to be a better person.

Favorite health food: Kale, quinoa, lentils, almond milk

Favorite cheat food: ribeye steak and baked potatos with everything and an entire bottle of full bodied red wine…absoloutely no hesitation.

Favourite booty exercise: weighted donkey kicks, weighted hip lifts, squats and step ups.

How you feel about being the newest challenge winner: Kinda weird. I feel kinda out of place amongst all these rock stars.

Your next goals: start my food business, do my show and look the best I can look.
